We Stand There...(monologue)
We stand there, hopeless. In a time of great need. We wait for things to come to us, to make our own. We want to belong, to go to great lengths to be accepted. Rigid, as the rush of life streams past you, you turn round and it’s too late, a speck…a tiny speck in the distance. You call after it, nothing but the echo of your own voice. You are alone, alone with your thoughts; a dangerous road where you realise, life is not an obstacle, but a journey. You’ve been told this before, but you find logic in it. Life is a train journey, you have to take it, you can’t miss the train otherwise you fall behind. You wait forever for your stop and you’ll never know if it’s what you’re looking for, if you don’t take that train. But who is to say there is no life beyond the living, the before and after of the now is always present. Our journeys change everyday; everyday we take a new path, make mistakes and get everything horribly wrong. Is it regret or is it nostalgia. Do you wish you did it differently? Do we get another chance? These are questions we all have and these questions will probably never be answered. Every life is unfulfilled in some shape or form, so we have to choose a path. We have to have a goal…a dream. I have a dream, of course I do. If I didn’t, what am I doing here? I think about it every day, and everyday I’m worried I will never make it, that I am on the verge of failing, that I have chosen the wrong path…gotten off the wrong stop. There is no wrong stop. It’s either yours or it isn’t. You make it yours when the time comes…is it regret or is nostalgia. 25/02/12 - 03:09am

A Personal Study of Character and Capabilty
The dynamics and potential of ones personality is relevant to the craft of which they perceive. I am a shy and quiet person on my outer shell, it’s not unusual, but it can come across disengaged and unfriendly, but get to know me and understand my character my true colours and vibrant, quirky personality come into play. As an actor people make the mistake that if you are not a particular loud personality or a confident character you are deemed less capable of putting yourself out there, be it theatre, film or any given social situation. But I have come across more than once and agree with a case that the reserved person is a thinking-man, alert and aware, constantly adapting mentally. That’s where I fit in. An observer. I observe and I create, my reserved personality benefits me in a way that I can fully embody a character, rather than the more common fault of having ones overly large personality break into their performance.
I like to think I pre-engage, calculative but thankfully, not sinister. There’s a saying that it is the quiet ones that are the most dangerous. That is a useful study into character and personality and taking a further analytical insight, it is the quiet ones that are the ones to watch. Someone who is a challenge to read is always more interesting than someone who encompasses the formulaic convention offering you their integrity on a stick. Confidence can come across as arrogance, it is difficult for someone who is shy to come across arrogant, but some who is calculative can also strike that border. I am myself, by no means in those categories. If I were, I wouldn't be writing this, I would be throwing it in your faces up close and personal. The depth of this study wouldn't surprise you and your questions wouldn't need answering.
The thinking-man has more potential to develop and grow, soaking in fellow intelligence around him, the ‘other’ man spews out his personality around him and his consumption is limited. The quiet ones are the ones to watch. 11/02/12 – 12:55pm

Enter the Matrix
I don’t compare to no other,
Coz I got this other side,
He spits rhymes,
Shoots you down,
Loosens you up,
And makes ya cry,
Coz I got you scared running for your life,
Like what the fuck, who’s this guy?
Never been behind the mic,
It’s obscene,
I’ll make a scene,
Tear it up,
Like a scenario from one of your wet dreams
I’m a poetic warrior,
War torn destroyer,
I hunt for justice,
I can be Matt Murdock’s lawyer,
I’m bad meets evil,
Meets a desert eagle,
Meet you down an alley and leave you feeling fucked in the ass by Vin Diesel,
I’m student living,
I can’t do singing,
So I make rhymes in my spare time,
Split between playstation and women,
I’m just a guy,
I smoke weed,
I get high,
I do what’s right by the book,
Society’s got me hooked,
On this shitty life style,
Everyone getting shook,
Reading in the paper,
The world is falling apart,
Roll up that paper,
Take toke of my art,
Watch the world burn,
Hold your own, I got your back
Like Rorschach.,
The end is nigh,
I can say that,
It’s been a long time coming,
Look in to the future,
Looking through the other side,
Evolution is war,
And war is where we lie.
In the killing fields,
At peace lying in this post-apocalyptic battlefield,
Some off us see it coming from a mile off,
Some of us shield their eyes, their souls already lost.
As I knowingly mercilessly, bring up the dirt that’s hiding within,
I spit bile, flow so strong coming up to your shins,
I get violent with words,
I love to disturb,
Take that verb, what did you learn?
My inner peace is in pieces,
My wordplay, got me playing dead in this world in my head,
I don’t know what is down what comes up is the ground,
What side am I on?
Am I above the world now?
I see too much,
I’m see-through, such bleeding,
Insignificant life receding,
Playing on words like a politician,
Vomiting lies, you fools deserve to listen,
Don’t hate a hater who’s hating on has-beens,
Like this world that we living in,
Not long now,
Hated by the people who live in it,
Who shit in it,
Who burn it down, blow it up,
You can see the cracks,
Nature’s fighting back,
Tsunami’s Earthquakes, Hurricanes,
The human race in pain,
We are collapsing in our self,
Suicide is a sin in it’s self,
There’s no god where we are going,
Coz we are going to hell,
Global warming is just a metaphor,
We let satan prevail.
I come to you in the dead of night,
Just before we’ve lost the fight,
Lost in past tense,
Winning is out of sight,
I speak truthfully as I fully believe,
If we choose the red pill,
Wonderland is free,
Tricked by the matrix,
We don’t deserve this,
All man should be equal,
Equality seems right,
If God made us all in his image,
Then lets imagine a world with no fads,
Give evolution back the meaning it once had,
Live in peace and happiness even if the world's gone mad.

A Vision - Monologue
A foreshadowed look into the future,
Premonitions of a distant time,
Hidden inside a capsule,
Elements of a lost soul,
Joining in equal harmony,
Where one is lost internally,
For eternity,
In space,
No life,
Other than the light of imagination,
The colours of reality,
Merged with the nature of sustainability,
The Epiphany of realisation,
An explosion of providence,
Where man ends all life,
And the light is gone.
An Angel in Ruin (Rap/Poem)
An angel to her folks
Before she did coke.
Dropped from the cliff by Satan’s rope.
Pulled to depths of the underworld.
Turned to the Trade,
Of grade,
Left to the spade,
6 feet under,
Now she wonders, if she took a different path could it have satisfied her hunger,
In search of a reason,
In her own Garden of Eden,
Blossoming opportunities, revolting from treason.
Her capable mind, wanting to rewind time.
Holding her back, reality intact.
No going back.
It’s a lonely road.
A lonely place far away from home.
Taking a rain check, going at breakneck,
Speed,
Too much need,
Exceeding all that greed,
Expectation, elevating to the heavens,
Waiting, tension fading.
Needle at the ready
Whats the point of waiting.
